#LondonAdventure – Plonk – Brixton

London is a magician when it comes to transforming spaces.

From roof top bars, vault cinemas, floating pubs and even donut shop atms, nothing is what it seems in this fair city.

One Mr Jekyll and Hyde destination Blasmin ventured through the looking glass to with Mattias in tow was Plonk in Brixton, squirreled away in the garden of The Duke Of Edinburgh Pub.

A stone’s through from the hustle and bustle of Brixton station with its bongo drum madness, trillion bus stops and general chaos, an old fashioned proper pub – all wood and booths, football on the telly and proper pints, is tucked behind the main high street. Through the secret garden, Blasmin led Mattias to Plonk and swapped her handbag for a golf club.

Crazy good fun, crazy cheap and because it wasn’t busy, they let us have another game for free.

For a cutesy date night with drinks thrown in, this is a hole in one*

Go if you want to go crazy and do something a little out of the ordinary but not bungee jump or anything

Don’t go if you’re likely to get angry when you can’t make a shot and use the club as a deadly weapon

£7.50 a game

Book here

*FYI Blasmin got no whole in ones and one shot took her upwards of ten shots. Mattias won both games
